You’re Allowed to Change Your Order

There’s an unspoken rule in coffee shops that we all understand:

You’re allowed to change your order.

What you liked last year… might not be what you want today.

What worked in one season… might not fit in another.

And no one questions it.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

You don’t walk up to the counter and say, “Well, I’ve been getting this for the last five years, so I guess I’ll just keep going…”

You get to adjust.

Without guilt. Without overthinking. Without justification.

In life…that same flexibility seems to disappear.

I see it all the time with the women I work with.

They’ve built full, meaningful, responsible lives with their careers, families, and commitments.

And yet, there’s a quiet awareness that something feels… off.

Not wrong.

Not broken.

Just… no longer quite right.

You’ve felt it.

In the pauses. In the moments of quiet. In the subtle thought of, “Is this it?”

So, my question is

Why aren’t you making changes in your life?

It’s not because you don’t have options.

But because:

  • you’re afraid to change, even if you know it’s time

  • you don’t want to disrupt something that looks “good on paper”

  • you’re used to putting your needs at the bottom of the list

  • you’re waiting for clarity to show up before you make a move

So instead of adjusting… you stay.

And the longer you stay, the easier it is to convince yourself:

“It’s fine.”

“I should be grateful.”

“Maybe this is just how it is.”

But it’s not.

Making changes doesn’t mean abandoning your life.

It means engaging with it differently.

More honestly.

More intentionally.

More in tune with who you are NOW.

And here’s the part most people miss:

Clarity doesn’t come before the change.

It comes because of it.

  • Because you tried something different.

  • Because you made a small shift.

  • Because you stopped waiting and started choosing.

That’s where coaching comes in.

Not as someone telling you what to order…

…but as a space where you can:

  • step out of autopilot

  • reconnect with what you actually want

  • and begin making choices that bring you back to yourself

Often, it starts small.

  • A boundary.

  • A different use of your time.

  • A quiet yes to something that’s been sitting in the background.

And from there… things begin to open up.

You don’t need to change everything.

But you do need to stop ignoring that a change is exactly what you need.

Your signature order is waiting…. You can schedule a Clarity Call to start exploring what it will be.
