Life Coaching FAQ

What is WithinU Coaching?

WithinU Coaching is a coaching practice founded by Beth Allison that helps highly responsible women reconnect with themselves, rediscover what matters most, and navigate life transitions with greater clarity, balance, and intention.

Who does Beth Allison work with?

Beth works primarily with women who are navigating life transitions, caregiving responsibilities, burnout, emotional overwhelm, shifting priorities, or the quiet feeling that something in life no longer fits the way it once did.

What types of coaching do you offer?

WithinU Coaching offers life balance coaching, caregiver support coaching, “What’s Next?” coaching for women in transition, group coaching programs, retreats, and one-on-one coaching sessions available both virtually and in person.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

Coaching may be a good fit if you feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, uncertain about your next chapter, emotionally exhausted from caregiving or responsibility, or simply ready to create a life that feels more aligned and intentional.

Do you offer virtual coaching?

Yes. Beth offers virtual coaching sessions for clients who prefer flexibility or who live outside the local Virginia area.

What happens during a discovery call?

A discovery call is a relaxed conversation where you can share what you’re navigating, ask questions, and explore whether coaching feels like the right fit for your needs and goals.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses on helping you move forward with clarity, intention, and personal growth. While therapy often focuses on healing past trauma or clinical mental health concerns, coaching is future-focused and designed to support personal insight, alignment, and sustainable change.

Do I need to have everything figured out before starting coaching?

Not at all. Many clients begin coaching because they feel uncertain, stuck, or disconnected. Coaching is designed to help you gain clarity, not require clarity beforehand.
