Dear Beth,

Thank you so very much for being my coach and mentor these past few months.

I want to share with you some specifics about our very productive sessions.

Having been a caregiver for my wife for almost 8 years has been challenging. Her cancer diagnosis and continuing bi-weekly treatments have been challenging and at the same time rewarding for both of us. Adversity has a way of making us rise to the occasion with work and love. Her cancer has been in remission for almost 2 years now.  But then 2 years ago we were faced with her diagnosis of Alzheimer's. This was a new challenge to which we needed to adapt.

Fortunately, as I zipped around the Internet universe I came upon your web page. I was hesitant to call and share our situation with anyone outside our family. At the same time I knew I needed more help than reading articles could provide.

That's when I called you. I knew I needed a mentor to talk with to guide me through this maze. You gave me the framework to make the pillars to structure my journey going forward. It allowed me to begin to put together a plan to augment my care giving experience.

Our sessions progressed at a good pace. You always followed up with a recap of our sessions and what were my goals for our next session, those follow-up recaps are a part of the binder I can rely on and refresh what we have worked on together.

I shared with you a few books I bought that I can use as references for when things progress as they certainly will.

Our discussions were encouraging to make me do my "homework" before our next session.

From planning outside help, talking with neighbors, making appointments for future living situations, making lists of contacts, updating phone numbers, making spreadsheets for our daughter to where and what is in our files, preparing how to care for my wife at home, and the importance of making a plan for my own self-care.

My wife and I know things will change, and we continue to talk about what I have learned from our sessions.

Basically, I have a plan now to act instead of reacting.

Thank you, Beth, for helping me make a plan. I otherwise would not be able to be as proactive as I know I will need to be for Sherry.

I appreciate knowing that your door will always be open for me if I need you to talk with anytime in the future.

I do not have a loved one who needs care RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT, but I will in the future. So, thank you so much for providing me with the consultation/discovery session:  on what will be needed when stepping into a caregiver’s role, and how my family’s and my life will be affected when caring for my loved one becomes a reality.

Your session was enlightening, and so valuable to me.  Your guidance through talking about possible solutions and action plans will make a huge difference when I step into the role of caregiver.

I can’t thank you enough for your calm ways and I truly believe that those who hire you will find your coaching services so helpful to them as they navigate caregiver transitions.

Keep up the good work, and know, our community is better because of your service.

Disclaimer: I’ve known Beth Allison for over five decades. We grew up together, spending summers in the sands of Old Lyme Shores. I chose to work with Beth because of my profound respect for her.

I’m 59 years old, just lost my job due to factors beyond my control, haven’t needed to participate in a focused job search in many years, and struggled to get from point A to point B. I decided to reach out to Beth Allison for some advice. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.

Beth helped me to overhaul the search. Instead of looking for safe, dead-end opportunities, she challenged me to find a position aligned with my skillset and my preference for industries. Her thoughtful questions forced me to think outside of my comfort zone and focus on how my previous experience plays into different but relevant verticals. The exercise helped create a more defined approach. Since I began working with Beth, I’ve noticed a significant increase in quality interviews.

I was handed a life challenge towards the end of our employment strategy sessions. Beth was amenable to shifting gears and helping me attack the issue. I’m happy to report that her guidance helped me successfully resolve a complicated situation. She’s a true professional who remains authentic and compassionate throughout the process. I highly recommend her if you want to speak with someone about any life transition. You’ll thank yourself for utilizing her services.

I’ve known Beth for over 8 years. Working with Beth as a Business partner in a professional capacity was always a pleasure where she would bring fresh strategy and innovative ideas to an ever-changing environment. My experience working with her as a personal coach was no different. As someone who has worked in talent acquisition for over 20 years, this is the most complex job market I have ever experienced. Beth customized her approach to fit my particular needs and was able to quickly pivot the program from live to virtual with the onset of our public health crisis. She never skipped a beat in supporting me. She helped me to break out of a pre-existing framework and breathe fresh ideas and a new perspective in how I approached my career search. I highly recommend Beth as someone who can help others intentionally look within and break through with new clarity and an exciting path to change.

Beth’s guidance and suggestions regarding how to build relationships with my peers as well as operational personnel helped me work more effectively with and for my clients. By coaching me regarding my performance, she helped assure my continued employment. I highly recommend Beth as a Life Coach for anyone wanting to enhance their interpersonal relationships on and off the job.

I met Beth Allison in 2008 when I owned a small massage therapy practice and was interested in expanding the scope and size of my practice. With Beth’s guidance and support, I was able to identify and create a new career path, set clear and focused goals, and map out a strategic plan to achieve those goals. Within six months, I had moved the office, increased our physical space, and added several new services and independent contractors. Beth’s support and guidance was instrumental in my ability to achieve goals I previously only dreamed of. In 2018, contemplating a new plan for myself and the business, I enlisted Beth’s professional guidance again. In just a few months, I had a new plan, new goals, and was able to enact that plan with the insight and experience gained working with her. Beth is a skilled listener. Her ability to ask appropriate questions and quickly get me focused was invaluable to my process. She is professional, supportive and takes great care with her clients. If you are looking to create positive change in your personal or professional life, I highly recommend Beth Allison.

I have known Beth Allison in a personal and professional capacity for more than 20 years. In that time, Beth has been a friend, colleague, mentor and advisor. She is someone who listens with an insightful ear, observes with a keen eye and responds with compassionate understanding while keeping you focused on your goals.

In my journey I have found Beth to be kind when I was vulnerable, and yet she held me accountable for what I said I wanted to achieve. If you’re ready to take the next step in your life journey, consider setting up a complimentary consultation session with Beth. It may be the best ‘next step’ you give yourself.

As I face unexpected change in my life caused by the illness (Alzheimer's) of a loved one, Beth Allison is helping me work through it.  She listens to (and more importantly, hears) my concerns.  She asks clarifying questions and seeks my ideas.  She makes suggestions and continues to support me moving forward.  I highly recommend Beth as a Life Coach.
